Professor Dipra Jha from Washington State University (USA) has completed a two-week working trip at the School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University.<\/p>\n

On May 5, 2024, Professor Dipra Jha from Washington State University (USA) concluded a two-week working trip at the School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University in the framework of the Fulbright Specialist Program. Professor Dipra Jha was honored as one of the top \u201c100 most influential people in USA Hospitality & Travel\u201d<\/strong> by the International Hospitality Institute. From April 22nd<\/sup> \u00a0to May 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0 2024, Professor Dipra Jha conducted a course on “Luxury Hotel Management and Cultural Contexts in Hospitality Management\u201d, a seminar on “Global Trends in Hospitality and Tourism\u201d, and working sessions with faculty members on innovative teaching methods in hospitality and tourism.<\/p>\n

From April 26th<\/sup> to May 5th<\/sup> 2024, the School of Hospitality and Tourism organized networking sessions connecting Professor Dipra Jha with hospitality and tourism businesses in Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city including Pilgrimage Village Resort, Vipearl Meli\u00e3 Hotel, Laguna L\u0103ng C\u00f4, Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills. During these sessions, various issues related to business operations, trends and new opportunities as well as difficulties and challenges in the industry were also discussed and addressed. Professor Dipra Jha also provided suggestions on organizing business internship activities, enhancing practical experiences, bridging the gap between theory and practice in education, and promoting effective and long-term collaborations between the university and the industry.<\/p>\n

Professor Dipra Jha, with his profound knowledge and rich experience in hospitality and tourism, has offered diverse perspectives on luxury hotel management and service operations. Additionally, Professor Dipra Jha has effectively conveyed teaching and learning experiences to the faculty members and students of the School of Hospitality and Tourism.<\/p>\n
